Interview Q&A
Q: If a child under your care gets hurt, what do you do first?
A: You get a first aid kit ,start cleaning the wounded area, then apply the medicine..if the situation is that bad call out for the parents first before taking the child to the hospital.
Q: How do you handle visitors or deliveries when the employer is away?
A: Just tell the person,my employer is not around at the moment , maybe come some hours or they call my employers for more information
Q: Describe how you keep food safe in the kitchen.
A: If there is remaining in the sufuria, put the food in tins then store them in the fridge for later consumption.
Q: How do you stay calm when work is stressful?
A: If the baby is so small,I can carry the child to the kitchen, then turn the stove off and leave immediately to attend to the child first later come check the food after the child is ok
Q: What would you do if asked to do something you feel is wrong?
A: Before starting work, there is agreement on what you're going to be doing in that home,if from the first day I knew I will be handling the child let your employer know whether you can wash a child or not.. newborns are delicate, and maybe the employee has never been a mother
Q: Tell clients a little about yourself.
A: It's good when you agree about working hours let it be the time you agreed, because we also have responsibilities towards our kids.time to get at work and time to leave work is precious,I have kids,my house chores, maybe I come from far sometimes I trek back home and also to work.
