Interview Q&A
Q: A child falls while you are alone with them (parents at work). They have a small cut on the knee — what do you do, step by step?
A: Well.... If a child fell and injury if I was working I will leave what I'm doing I attend the kid. If the wound is not serious I handle it but if it's serious I will alert the parents immediately then I explain everything.
Q: A stranger at the gate says they are close friends with your employer and need to wait inside, but nobody warned you — what do you do?
A: I will call my employer to confirm. If the employer's phone number isn't reachable then I tell the stranger at the gate to call them first if he/she refused to do so
I won't open the door.
Q: How do you store leftover cooked food (such as stew or soup) in the fridge safely?
A: I let the food to cool a little bit then I get a container I store in it and I preserve it in the fridge
Q: Your employer asks you to do something you were never trained for (e.g. bathing a newborn the first time) — how do you respond?
A: Well I have to be responsible. But it happens like that at moment I will hold the baby properly then I handle the food because I can't leave the baby crying and save food no. If the baby takes a nap I will use that chance to prepare food.
Q: You are alone with a baby — food starts burning while the infant is crying loudly. What do you do first and why?
A: If I explain to her and she insist then I'll handle it.
