Interview Q&A
Q: A child falls while you are alone with them (parents at work). They have a small cut on the knee — what do you do, step by step?
A: I should take the baby and check out on the cut, and do some first aid from the kit or use salted warm water for the bleeding to stop as I calm the baby.
Q: A stranger at the gate says they are close friends with your employer and need to wait inside, but nobody warned you — what do you do?
A: I should ask my employer first before I do anything else.
Q: How do you store leftover cooked food (such as stew or soup) in the fridge safely?
A: Change it to a refrigerator container when it is cool, stew in the fridge and soup in freezer.
Q: Your employer asks you to do something you were never trained for (e.g. bathing a newborn the first time) — how do you respond?
A: I should ask her to explain or teacher me how she does it before I do it in a respectable way.
Q: You are alone with a baby — food starts burning while the infant is crying loudly. What do you do first and why?
A: Take care of the baby first then come back and switch off the cooker.Because, the child is the purpose I'm working in that house.
Q: If you accidentally break a plate during work, when do you tell the employer?
A: Immediately if she's available at the moment it happened
